a little pink corner in Nolita

It is safe to say that we were pretty excited when we found out that there was a new restaurant with a pink shtick in Nolita. This little pink gem is hard to miss on Elizabeth street because it is quite literally, super pink. The outside of the restaurant includes a pink neon sign with the name of the restaurant, Pietro. The tiny restaurant has pink walls with white stars and two side benches -which are of course- pink. The inside of the restaurant has a retro 50s feel with limited seating available. Nearby is a graffiti doorway (pictured below) which just adds to the overall aesthetic. The Barbie pink bathroom inside includes a heart shaped mirror and pink wallpaper with the words “love me” repeated over and over (dope mirror selfie opportunity). Sadly, we didn’t have the opportunity to eat here, but we have a strong feeling that this place is going to be all over Instagram very shortly.

We knew that we wanted to stick with neutrals when we decided to shoot here. We stuck with a simple color palette of gray, taupe and lavender to compliment the outside of the restaurant.

Samantha is wearing a suede vest from GUESS, a multicolored sweater from Forever 21 and beige suede booties with fringe from Vince Camuto. To finish off the look, Samantha added a simple beaded choker from Ruby and Jenna. Janet is wearing a cropped lavender sweater from Urban Outfitters, high waisted light blue jeans from Free People and a mixture of suede and leather booties from Vince Camuto with a fringe detail.

Pietro Nolita is located on 174 Elizabeth Street, New York, NY 10012
